Studio.
After years of flitting between recording and tour life, I'm mostly in the studio these days, working on turning ideas into great sounding records. About a decade and a half of experience has left me comfortable in all genres, but gravitating towards more "band led" music - My attention is first and foremost really on the artist and the song - making sure the music and the story behind is done justice by the capture and in the production. The aim is to coax out a version of the track which really captures the heart of who the artists are, so you can listen and know that you're really hearing the true version of the band.

I spent 8 years as Studio Manager and Head Engineer at Small Pond Recordings in Brighton, which has served as my base since it opened in 2015, but I'm also frequenty found location recording, or dry hiring beautiful countryside studios - whatever gets us the right sound and vibe for the record! Some of my favourites to work at are Middle Farm in Devon and Salvation in Portslade.

I've worked with a load of great local and international talent in a range of genres including - El Moono, Lovejoy, The Taut, Rein, The Guts, CLT DRP, Such Small Hands, Prom, Room 3, Ä enn and Ornament.
